School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Waterbury, Connecticut

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship year (CFY)
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, evaluate, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support all aspects of student learning
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide consultation, resources, and training for staff and caregivers on communication strategies
