Speech Language Pathologist in Washington, PA

We're looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work part-time on contract, providing essential services to a Kindergarten student. With a flexible schedule of three days per week, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on what matters most—children’s speech and language development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience, especially with early elementary students, is an advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the speech and language abilities of a Kindergarten student, identifying strengths and areas of need
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on student-specific goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and small group as needed
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school professionals to support student success
- Act as a resource for parents and staff, offering practical strategies for communication development
