Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience in school settings, especially with early childhood or kindergarten populations, is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support teams
- Demonstrated ability to adapt therapy techniques to an individual student’s needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy services to a kindergarten student, following their IEP objectives
- Conduct on-going assessments and track progress toward communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support each child’s educational journey
- Develop and implement engaging, individualized therapy activities that align with academic and developmental targets
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation related to student progress and therapy sessions
