In this role, you’ll make a direct impact within a dedicated preschool program, managing a caseload of approximately 40 students. You’ll collaborate with a supportive educational team to deliver assessment, evaluation, and direct therapy services focused on helping students reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Rhode Island SLP license required
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations
- Prior history providing school-based SLP services preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students ages 3–5 within the preschool setting
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
