Serving a dynamic preschool program with a caseload of approximately 40 students, you’ll collaborate closely with students, families, and educators to facilitate meaningful communication progress. The assignment begins in late August and extends through June 2027, providing both stability and professional fulfillment. Both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time availability can be accommodated, offering flexibility to fit your life.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Rhode Island SLP license
  • Previous experience with pediatric caseloads, ideally in a school or preschool setting
  • Comfort with assessment, evaluation, and direct therapeutic interventions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and families
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and implement individualized therapy plans

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop targeted treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to preschool-aged students in individual and small group settings
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports for all students
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive, communicative classroom environment
