Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent experience in a school-based setting, working with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, assessment, and intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans that address students’ unique communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert input on goals and strategies
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Utilize evidence-based practices to foster student success and promote inclusive learning
