Speech Language Pathologist in Warren, TX
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering direct therapy services to a caseload of 30 students in grades 3 through 5. You’ll work on-site near Warren, TX, within an engaging school environment that values your expertise and commitment to student success. This role runs from ASAP through May 27, 2027, providing long-term consistency for students and a community where your skills make a real difference.
Your schedule will be 8:00 am to 12:15 pm, two days per week—primarily Tuesdays and Thursdays, but there’s some flexibility in which weekdays you choose, so long as the time remains fixed. This part-time arrangement offers work-life balance while allowing you to focus closely on your students’ communication growth.
Candidates should bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated school-based therapy experience, especially with elementary-aged students
- Knowledge of best practices for direct service delivery and educational documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators and families
- Comfortable working independently and managing a steady caseload
Responsibilities involve:
- Providing high-quality, direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 3–5
- Developing, implementing, and updating individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborating with teachers and special education teams to support overall student development
- Maintaining clear records of progress and communicating regularly with families and team members
