Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in pediatric and school-based settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and intervention methods for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Skilled in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines
- Engage with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate generalization of skills into classroom settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support student outcomes
- Offer direct and consultative services, adapting methods for diverse student populations
