Key Qualifications:
- Valid State SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Sound understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, developing specialized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Flexibility to adapt interventions to meet students’ diverse needs
- Passion for working with children and empowering them to reach their full potential
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech-language assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Track progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and families to generalize skills in academic settings
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
