Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Walnut Creek, CA

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Passion for working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive classroom environments
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions for students across grade levels, K-12
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities
