Speech Language Pathologist in Walnut Creek, CA

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working with school-aged students preferred, but strong new grads welcome
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance to classroom teachers regarding speech and language interventions
