School SLP 26-27 Year
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs within a dynamic middle school environment. This full-time role begins August 11, 2026, and extends through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You'll play a crucial part in advancing speech-language services for the school community, with a particular focus on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience with school-based caseloads and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Bilingual abilities highly valued, though not mandatory
- Previous work in middle school settings is an advantage
- High standard of professionalism and ability to engage with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a full-time caseload within a supportive school setting
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of communication challenges
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement effective interventions
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and supporting students’ learning outcomes
- Offer consultative support to school teams to foster inclusive classroom environments
