Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • CCC preferred; strong consideration given to those currently holding or pursuing the credential
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or similar setting
  • Strong foundational knowledge in speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload effectively while maintaining regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs of elementary students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapeutic interventions
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Facilitate student participation in classroom activities through effective communication strategies
