Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Vista, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Vista, CA. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing treatment across a diverse caseload that spans all grade levels. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the current school year.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for students with speech and language challenges, supporting their communication development within the school environment. The caseload features a high bilingual population, making bilingual skills highly desirable to effectively meet student needs.
Ideal qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred
- Experience or certification in school-based SLP services
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) experience is welcomed
- Background working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Ability to manage a K-12 caseload efficiently
- Bilingual proficiency is a significant asset
