Virginia Public Schools is seeking two dedicated and collaborative Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join their team for the 2026–2027 school year. These full-time, onsite positions provide the opportunity to support students within one of Virginia’s largest and well-established school districts while working alongside experienced educational teams.
The district is also welcoming Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced clinicians and newer professionals beginning their school-based careers.

Position Details
School Year: August 24, 2026 – June 11, 2027
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Full-time onsite positions only
School assignments and caseloads to be determined
Caseloads are generally targeted around 50 students
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide direct therapy services
Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
Support students’ communication development and educational success
Qualifications
Active Virginia SLP Licensure required
Clinical Fellow candidates encouraged to apply
CCCs are not required for eligibility
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred but not required
