Qualifications:
- Current Virginia SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to best practices and ethical standards in service delivery
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Perform speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with educators and parents
- Provide direct therapy to students based on individual needs and goals
- Advocate for student success and participate in collaborative problem-solving
