Speech Therapist in Salem, VA

What We’re Looking For:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• State licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous experience in school-based environments preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Compassionate approach, culturally responsive, and student-centered
• Comfortable working on-site; this is not a remote or teletherapy position
What You'll Do:
• Provide direct speech-language services to a diverse K-12 population
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student
• Deliver services in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• Offer consultations to support classroom strategies and student success
