School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Village Mills, Texas

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This part-time position offers the chance to make a real difference, working directly with 3rd to 5th graders to help them achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP - CCC required)
- Previous experience delivering speech therapy services in schools, ideally with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with students, teachers, and families
- Capable of providing direct therapy and progress monitoring
- Innovative approach to engaging students and tailoring interventions
Position Highlights:
- Duration: Contract from ASAP through May 27, 2027
- Schedule: 8:00am to 12:15pm, two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday preferred; days can be adjusted, but hours are set)
- Caseload: Approximately 30 students in grades 3-5
- Focus: Direct therapy in an on-site school setting; open to both in-person and virtual formats
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech therapy sessions
- Partner with educators and families to support IEP goals
- Accurately assess, document, and report student progress
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
