Experience working with school-aged children as a Speech-Language Pathologist? This contract-based opportunity on Florida’s scenic southeast coast could be your next rewarding assignment. Multiple assignments are available for NSY SLPs, both full-time and part-time, across PK-12 campuses with diverse caseloads, including ASD, EBD, VE, and InD units.
You’ll collaborate onsite with school staff and other SLPs, delivering services to students who need your expertise in a positive and supportive environment. Assignments range from supporting established SLP teams to building services at a brand-new, expanding K-8 school.
What you’ll bring:
- Active SLP license and ASHA CCCs
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Comfortable managing caseloads spanning preschool through high school
- Flexible and adaptable; ready to engage in dynamic school communities
- Skilled in collaboration with faculty and allied professionals
- Thorough with documentation and IEP development
Your key responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Track progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to ensure student success
- Serve one or two campuses, depending on your assignment
- Comply with all state credentialing and background check requirements (including fingerprints, with potential for expedited processing)
Available assignments include both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time schedules, with specific options at a variety of PK-12 schools.
