School Speech Language Pathologist - Vernon Rockville, Connecticut
Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong understanding of K-12 IEP processes and compliance
- Ability to effectively manage a district-wide caseload
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and resourcefulness in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Contribute expertise in team meetings, eligibility decisions, and parent conferences
