Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Manchester, CT
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across a dynamic K-12 setting! A full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for the 2026-2027 school year, running from August through June. This position offers the chance to provide meaningful services district-wide and make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
You’ll have the flexibility of a Monday through Friday schedule, working between 35 and 37.5 hours each week, and collaborating with a dedicated team of education professionals. The ideal candidate values communication, is committed to best practices in therapy, and thrives in a school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational or clinical settings
- Strong teamwork abilities and outstanding communication skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Providing consultative services to teachers, staff, and families
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to student success plans
- Keeping thorough records and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
- Serving as a resource throughout the district wherever SLP expertise is required
