Take your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to a vibrant school setting and make a real difference during the 2026/2027 academic year! Two full-time SLPs are sought for contract positions serving students in the Port Charlotte, FL area, with 40-hour work weeks. Both experienced clinicians with CCCs and recent graduates completing their CFY are welcome to apply. As an on-site provider, you'll work directly with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans that foster meaningful progress.
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for Florida SLP licensure
- Ability to obtain ASHA CCCs or eligible CFY status
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Dedication to supporting diverse student needs
- Comfortable working on-site full-time throughout the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s academic and social growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed
