Speech Therapist in Crown Point, IN
This exciting contract opportunity is for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential support in school settings located in Crown Point, IN. Each position offers a 37.5-hour workweek with caseloads ranging between 45 and 55 students.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students, collaborating with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and documenting student progress. The first SLP will cover one elementary and one middle school building, while the second SLP will work across two middle school buildings. Both positions require strong caseload management and the ability to adapt therapy to diverse student needs within these school settings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders typical to school-aged children
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
