Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Familiarity supporting students with autism, especially those who use AAC devices, is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting young learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 support to a kindergarten student with autism, utilizing an AAC device
  • Collaborate closely with lead SLPs and educational staff
  • Implement individualized therapy strategies and track student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-related planning as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive learning environment
