This contract opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite therapy services in La Porte, IN. Deliver speech-language therapy throughout a school year of 26-27 weeks, working 35 hours per week, focusing on students ranging from 2 to 22 years old with moderate to severe disabilities.

Key responsibilities include planning and delivering therapy targeting speech, language development, articulation, voice, oral-motor functions, feeding, social language skills, augmentative communication, and assistive technology. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing, and prepare clear, insightful reports based on assessments and observations. Develop, maintain, and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives. Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and peers to discuss student progress and areas where support is needed.

Qualifications:

  • Hold or be eligible for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teacher’s license from the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE)
  • Preferably possess 1 to 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to diverse student needs
