What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with speech and language needs
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans grounded in evidence-based practices
- Provide engaging therapeutic sessions targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Carefully track progress, maintaining detailed records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families to ensure coordinated, student-centered care
- Serve as a resource to families, empowering them to participate actively in the intervention process
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- Previous experience working with children or within a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
