Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Vale, Oregon
A full-time contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide on-site services for the 2026-2027 school year in Vale, Oregon. This role involves working with students across a range of grade levels in a supportive educational setting.
Location: Vale, OR 97918
Position Type: Full-time Contract (On-site)
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM; shorter hours on Friday
Responsibilities:
- Caseload management of 25-30 students for SLPs, serving K-12 grades
- SLPA caseload includes students from K-6 grades
- Early intervention services with oversight and supervision of SLPA staff (SLPs to supervise up to 2 SLPAs)
- Implementation of speech therapy services across educational settings
- Collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participation in team meetings, documentation, and progress reporting
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license with CCC preferred for SLP positions
- SLPA certification required for the assistant role
- Experience in school, pediatric, healthcare, or teletherapy settings is beneficial
- Ability and willingness to supervise SLPA staff (for SLP roles)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting students' speech and language development across diverse age groups
