Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and active California SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCCs) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will also be considered
- Previous school-based experience is desirable, though not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student speech, language, and communication needs across diverse age groups
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student support and progress
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings, shaping a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Advocate for student needs, participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of effective strategies
