Step into a rewarding contract opportunity with an enriching school-based setting, beginning August 11, 2026, through June 6, 2027. This onsite, full-time position (37.5 hours/week) is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists who hold the SLP-CCC credential and are committed to student success. In this essential role, you can expect to serve diverse student populations in a supportive educational environment.
Several unique caseload options are available:
- One site: Support two Special Day Classes (High and Post-Secondary), working with both intensive and mild/moderate needs.
- Two sites: Divide your time between a middle school Special Day Class (intensive/mild/moderate, 0.6 FTE) and an elementary Special Day Class (0.4 FTE).
- One site: Work exclusively with a mild/moderate program for TK–5th grade.
Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP certification/license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to students, educators, and families
Role responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing therapy to assigned students
- Collaborating with educators and related service personnel
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in line with district and state mandates
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of educational plans
