Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Recent clinical experience in school settings, with strong understanding of IEP processes
  • Ability to develop rapport with K-12 students, educators, and families
  • Proficient in screening, evaluation, and development of treatment plans
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to support student development
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation to track progress and meet compliance standards
  • Provide consultative support to classroom staff for language and communication accommodations
  • Support a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students
