Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY applicants considered
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly desired
- Familiarity with IEP processes and case management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and parents
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school staff to support students’ educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide direct and consultative services, adapting interventions for classroom or remote settings as appropriate
- Educate and support students and families on strategies to improve communication skills
