What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working with a pediatric population, especially in school settings
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, voice, language, and fluency disorders in children
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education services
- Collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and a child-focused approach
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments on K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized therapy treatment plans
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct therapy services—individual or group—focusing on students’ unique needs and goals
- Support teachers, staff, and families with recommendations, strategies, and resources
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district policies
