Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Previous experience or clinical practicum in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention planning skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Familiarity with IEP process and educational requirements for students with communication challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Deliver direct therapy services to students on caseload
- Consult regularly with educators, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and recommended strategies
- Monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven recommendations for ongoing support
- Uphold ethical standards and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations
