Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility considered
- Valid state licensure in speech-language pathology (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support teams
- Compassionate, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and design personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to children within the school environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents, and other professionals to support the development of students’ speech, language, and literacy skills
- Develop and maintain detailed therapy records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, IEP development, and goal-setting to ensure students receive holistic support
- Provide resources and strategies for teachers and caregivers to reinforce therapeutic progress in daily activities
