An exceptional opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking a contract assignment in a supportive and well-organized charter school environment. This full-time role, starting as soon as possible and running until June 11, 2027, involves collaborating with dedicated staff to make a meaningful difference for elementary students (grades K–6). Each day, you’ll work with approximately 13 students, embracing a mix of speech-only, speech as a secondary disability, and higher-needs caseloads, including nonverbal and ASD students.
Key Qualifications:
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate and all PA clearances
- Experience with complex communication needs, including nonverbal and ASD populations
- Proficiency with EdPlan IEP system preferred
- Strong communication, flexibility, consistency, and ability to build engaging relationships with students
- Candidates with virtual SLP experience are highly encouraged to apply
- A passed tech screen and clinical exception (if needed) required prior to start
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and inclusive speech-language services to K–6th grade students
- Collaborate with a para who facilitates therapy sessions
- Conduct quarterly progress monitoring (no student pull-ahead necessary for report writing)
- Work within a caseload that does not require Medicaid billing
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development utilizing EdPlan
