Speech Language Pathologist in Bensalem, PA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students with speech/language needs in a well-organized, charter school environment. This position offers a consistent, engaging daily schedule working with learners in grades K-6, including those with higher support needs and nonverbal/ASD students.
Begin your placement ASAP, with a commitment through June 2027. Spend your days making a meaningful difference for up to 13 students, fostering communication skills that can last a lifetime. With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll be supported by a para to help facilitate sessions, all while utilizing the EdPlan IEP system. No Medicaid billing is required, and documentation is simplified: you’ll perform quarterly progress monitoring, without losing days of direct student interaction.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and active CCC-SLP credential
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate and all required PA clearances
- Experience supporting students with a range of speech needs, including nonverbal and ASD populations
- Ability to adapt and communicate flexibly in a fast-paced, organized setting
- Strong engagement skills with both students and staff
- Prior virtual/teletherapy SLP experience is a definite plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech/language therapy to K-6 students as part of their IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, para, and educational teams
- Ensure timely and accurate use of EdPlan for IEPs and progress monitoring
- Maintain a positive, consistent presence for students throughout the school year
