This full-time role is based on-site, supporting two campuses for the first nine-week period of the school year. The district is seeking a motivated professional to cover a maternity leave, with the added opportunity to supervise a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. While candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered—with supervision—those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are especially encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants considered
- Experience in school-based settings is ideal
- Ability to supervise a bilingual SLPA (not required for CFY)
- Bilingual fluency is highly valued
- Comfortable working across two school sites
- Willingness to complete background check and fingerprinting promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services within a K-12 population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success
- Supervise and mentor a bilingual SLPA
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
