Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a contract role for the upcoming school year. This assignment focuses on providing critical support during the first nine-week period, covering maternity leave needs at two school sites. The upcoming district interview is scheduled for April 27, 2026, for placements beginning August 17, 2026, through October 9, 2026. You’ll be working full-time on-site, collaborating with dedicated educational teams and directly supervising a bilingual SLPA.
Ideal candidates are passionate about student communication development, thrive in fast-paced school environments, and possess strong clinical and organizational skills. Prior school-based experience is especially valuable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC certification
- Valid state professional licensure for practice as an SLP (please be prepared to provide license documentation)
- Bilingual proficiency and willingness to supervise a bilingual SLPA
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Fingerprinting and background check clearance
- Experience in school settings is preferred but early-career professionals are encouraged to apply
Role Expectations:
- Deliver direct therapy sessions and comprehensive SLP services to diverse student caseloads
- Supervise and support a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Assess, develop, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and federal guidelines
