A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school setting located in Tuscola, IL. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy sessions addressing a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold full licensure as an SLP in the state of Illinois.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required.
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and school staff.
