A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school setting located in Tuscola, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work with a caseload of approximately 15 students, with potential to transition into a full-time position next year, supporting 45-50 students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions addressing a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold full licensure as an SLP in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare settings.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required.
  • Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and school staff.
