Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic elementary school environment, working with students from Pre-K through 5th grade. This full-time, contract position runs from August 14, 2025, through May 22, 2026, and offers the opportunity to inspire young learners while collaborating closely with a part-time SLPA assigned to support speech and language services. You’ll serve a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students within just one school, allowing you to focus on meaningful progress and consistent connections with your students and colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license in Oklahoma, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech therapy, ideally within a school-based setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective parent and team collaboration
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy for students in grades Pre-K to 5
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student communication goals
- Supervise, guide, and partner with the assigned SLPA to deliver coordinated services
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with district and regulatory standards
