Preferred Background and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Experience working with preschool-age children (ages 3-5) preferred
- Comfortable managing a busy caseload
- Licensed to practice in New York (or eligible)
- CFY candidates are considered with available virtual supervision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for children ages 3-5
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records of progress and required documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for goal-setting and service delivery
- Flexibly adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs
