Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Current Maryland professional license for Speech Language Pathology
- Eligibility to provide proof of licensure documentation
- Clear results from time-sensitive credentialing, including House Bill 486 district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster educational progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
- Support students across multiple campuses (number of sites and caseload will be determined)
