School Speech Language Pathologist - Towson, Maryland
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students in the Baltimore area as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure (upload clear images of licensure when applying)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in or a strong desire to work in K-12 educational environments
- Readiness to complete all credentialing, including district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review per state regulations (House Bill 486)
- Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work on-site throughout the assignment
Your responsibilities include:
- Evaluating students’ communication needs using specialized assessments
- Providing direct speech-language therapy—individually and in groups
- Maintaining IEP documentation and progress notes
- Consulting with teachers and parents to support student learning
- Attending school meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
