Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver impactful speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication needs, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluation testing as needed to inform service recommendations.
- Prepare clear, insightful reports reflecting student assessment findings and classroom observations.
- Develop and track individualized IEP objectives tailored to each student's growth.
- Work closely and communicate effectively with parents, classroom staff, and other team members regarding student progress and continued areas for support.
- Support students with moderate to severe disabilities, spanning ages 2 to 22.
Qualifications:
- Hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Delaware state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. CFY candidates are welcome.
- Previous experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential.
