Speech Pathology - Torrance, CA

You’ll support students in a variety of school settings (itinerant assignments may be possible), with most caseloads ranging from 50–60. Age groups vary, providing a chance to flex your expertise and grow your skills. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with full-time hours (40 hours per week; 8-hour days) aligned to a traditional academic calendar. The district creates a supportive culture through bi-weekly training cohorts and mentorship for those seeking CF supervision. Candidates must be available for onsite work only—remote or hybrid work is not offered.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License and SLP Teaching Credential (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong assessment, collaboration, and communication skills
- Clear commitment to supporting diverse caseloads of 50–60 students
- Eagerness to participate in ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech-language therapy for assigned students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams
