Pre-School School Speech Therapist - Tomball, Texas
A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an early childhood pre-school setting in Tomball, TX. This position is a contract role covering a maternity leave with a duration through the current school year, starting in April and ending May 21, 2026. The work schedule is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services for preschool-aged children in a school setting.
- Provide supervision and guidance to a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support students’ communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas is required.
- Prior experience working in school-based settings, specifically with preschool students.
- Ability to supervise and mentor an SLPA.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
