Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Tolleson, AZ. The SLP will provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to help students improve communication skills and succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations of students with suspected speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with IDEA regulations
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school psychologists, and parents
- Maintain compliant and accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation and classroom strategies to support communication development
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Ensure compliance with federal (IDEA), state, and district policies
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility to work in a school setting with children (K–12 population) --- Arizona State License in Speech-Language Pathology
