School Speech Language Pathologist - Prescott, Arizona
Embark on a fulfilling assignment supporting K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting located near Prescott, AZ. Multiple openings are available for School-based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). This contract position runs full-time—40 hours per week—from August 3, 2026, to May 27, 2027, aligning with the school year.
As part of this role, professionals enjoy guaranteed hours, receive compensation for both direct and indirect services, and are not expected to take on extra district duties outside of their contracted hours. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience providing services in a K-12 school setting is beneficial
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative/indirect services as needed
