Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and documentation for K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver therapeutic interventions targeting communication and language skills
- Regularly monitor and document student progress
- Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
- Provide support and resources to teachers and parents for carryover of strategies
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
