A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving elementary school students in Thousand Oaks, CA for the 2025-2026 school year. This role offers a 35-hour workweek within a school setting, providing support for students requiring speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred.
- Skilled in pediatric speech and language therapies and treatment strategies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and multidisciplinary teams.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Thousand Oaks, CA.
- Contract role within an elementary school.
