Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in the Southern LA/Santa Ana region! This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic educational setting from now until late May 2026. With a full caseload, you'll work with diverse age groups across one or more school sites, supporting students’ communication and academic growth.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active California SLP License and SLP Teaching Credential
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- School-based SLP experience (all levels of experience considered, from new grads to seasoned professionals)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centered approaches and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for student referrals
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with school teams
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students with a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Travel between assigned schools (caseload and assignments discussed during interview)
You’ll enjoy working a regular school day schedule (7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week) with the security of a long-term contract. Compensation for this position is based on your years of school-based SLP experience, with rates offered accordingly to recognize your expertise.
