The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week within one school site.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active Colorado SLP license required
- Open to SLPs with CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
- Previous experience working with PreK children strongly preferred
- Experience supporting non-verbal children is a distinct advantage
- Must complete district credentialing and contractor packet prior to start date
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students, tailoring strategies to a diverse range of needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, aides, and families to promote progress and generalization of communication skills
- Monitor and document student progress and maintain timely records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and multidisciplinary team discussions as required
- Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication methods as appropriate
