A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatrics and school settings is needed for a contract position in a K-12 educational environment located in Temple, TX. This role supports PreK through 2nd grade students, with some caseload responsibilities for middle school students, providing valuable therapeutic interventions to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and evaluations to students from PreK to middle school.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 100 students, collaborating closely with another SLP and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals and developmental needs.
- Participate in ongoing assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to support student success and communicate effectively with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Pediatric and school-based speech therapy experience.
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred.
- Ability to commit to the remainder of the current school year and the 2026/2027 school year.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.
