The role consists of a 40-hour work week, split between the schools, providing consistent support for students and collaborating with teams focused on student success.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Arizona
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
  • Knowledge of best practices in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech-language disorders
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload split between two school sites
  • Flexibility to begin as soon as possible in an in-person role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ academic and social growth
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress
  • Attend individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to student plan development
  • Consult with school staff to implement classroom strategies that support speech-language goals
