Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
- Knowledge of best practices in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech-language disorders
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload split between two school sites
- Flexibility to begin as soon as possible in an in-person role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ academic and social growth
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress
- Attend individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to student plan development
- Consult with school staff to implement classroom strategies that support speech-language goals
